Looks like recaptcha v2 was taking AGES to load on my computer. That's probably why the interstitial timers were showing like 15-20 seconds for people

I'm thinking we have some kind of a timer or rotate captcha solutions if recaptcha is down (like turnstyle or something, on page in real time if possible)
